Aircraft Type Ratings/Conversion Training

Our approved Type Rating training courses consist of a pilot ground course involving computer-based and classroom training. The Full Flight Simulator Sessions are enhanced with the provision of cockpit procedures trainers, training aids and applicable aircraft training manuals.

The Full Flight Simulator sessions provide an accurate simulated aircraft environment, with our team of experienced Ansett Aviation Asia qualified instructors able to provide quality training throughout the planned program sessions. Video recording of training sessions can be used to enhance training in a de-brief session, enabling more effective training. Training scenarios such as emergency and abnormal aircraft operations and extreme weather conditions can be introduced during a simulator session to provide real life operational scenarios.

Recurrent Training

All requirements for recurrent training and for recency are provided by Ansett Aviation Asia. Our approved instructors provide the necessary training through approved recurrent training courses and can be approved under Part 142 arrangements to provide recurrent training for nominated airlines.

Jet Bridging Course - Airline Pilot

The Ansett Aviation Asia’s Jet Bridging Course is designed to prepare pilots transitioning from the basic commercial training environment (piston engine/turbo prop aircraft) to jet airline operations. It is designed to thoroughly prepare the student for their first jet type rating course as well as any potential airline selection simulator assessments.

Multi Crew Cooperation Course – MCC

Pilots who wish to operate in an airline multi crew environment must complete a Multi Crew Co-Operation Course (MCC). Ansett Aviation Asia is able to provide quality MCC training.

Airline employment screening/training

Many airlines as part of their interview screening of prospective pilots conduct an assessment of flying skills in a full flight simulator. Ansett Aviation Asia is able to offer pilots pre interview training in a full flight simulator to assist in the preparation for the assessment.

Threat and error management training

Included in the Type Rating courses offered by Ansett Aviation Asia, modules covering Threat and Error Management are included in the courses to enhance an understanding of the required non-technical skills associated with pilot competence.
